
The Chicago Bulls are an American professional basketball team from Chicago, Illinois. The Bulls play in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team joined the NBA for the 1966-67 season. The early Bulls struggled to gain momentum, but by the mid-1980s (with the purchase of Michael Jordan) they became a championship team. In the early 1990s, the Bulls won three consecutive NBA titles. The Bulls won an NBA record 72 games during the 1995–96 NBA season and are the only team in NBA history to win 70 games in a single season. They are currently playing their home games at the United Center in Chicago. |
