 Coldplay is a British alternative rock band that was formed in London, England in 1998. Coldplay is made up of 4 men: Chris Martin (vocals/piano), Jon Buckland (guitar), Will Champion (drums), and Guy Berryman (bass). The band met when they all attended the University College of London. Coldplay first became popular after the release of their album Parachutes in 2000 and its best know singles “Yellow” and “Trouble”. They later released great albums such as A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), X&Y(2005), and their latest (and many will say greatest) Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008). |
